Abstract
The purpose of this study is to define the term, ¡®play¡¯ and to explore play¡¯s therapeutic elements. For this study I reviewed the literatures dealing with play; for example, encyclopedias, handbooks, journals, theses(master/doctorate). As a result, I suggested that, firstly, play and work are not absolutely mutually exclusive. We play in leisure time and we can also play in the daily routine.
